Terms and conditions
for the cancellation service

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to the cancellation service, a service of fino still alive UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 25, 34117 Kassel, for relatives and authorised representatives of a deceased person (hereinafter "you").

2. Service

At your request we identify the deceased person's running contracts, automatically from account transactions or based on your details, and send cancellations or transfers (contract takeovers by relatives) on your behalf. You decide which contracts are cancelled, transferred or kept.

3. Conclusion of contract

The contract is concluded when you confirm the order with obligation to pay in the cancellation process. Questions via the contact form are non-binding.

4. Price and guarantee

The cancellation service costs a one-off €100 including VAT. There is no subscription and no follow-up cost. If you save less than €100 through the cancellations, we refund the difference automatically.

5. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (fino still alive UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 25, 34117 Kassel, Germany, phone +49 561 82790470, email kontakt@abmelde-service.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Early expiry

The right of withdrawal expires once we have fully performed the service, if we only began performance after you gave your express consent and at the same time confirmed that you are aware that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract.

6. Liability

We are not responsible for processing by the respective contract partners. We are liable for our own breaches of duty in accordance with statutory provisions; liability for slightly negligent breaches of non-essential contractual obligations is excluded.

7. Final provisions

German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
